Amador County Combined Narcotics Task Force (ACCNET)

The Amador County Combined Narcotic Enforcement Task Force (ACCNET) began operations on November 01, 2007.

ACCNET is funded through Federal Anti-Drug program and California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) grant funding through California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team Program (CalMMET). ACCNET also receives grant funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).

These funds are administered through the Sheriff’s Office. Currently the salaries for the Jackson and Ione Police Department Task Force Agents, a Sheriff’s Office Services Assistant position, and a pre-determined amount of overtime for the other agents are paid through these funds. The remaining agents’ salaries and overtime are paid for by their respective agencies. ACCNET can be reached by calling the main office telephone number at (209) 223-6898 or accnet@amadorsheriff.org.
Agencies that currently contribute officers to ACCNET include:
Amador County Sheriff's Office
Amador County District Attorney's Office
California Highway Patrol
The mission of ACCNET is the joint coordination of local law enforcement agencies to interdict and reduce the production, manufacturing, distribution and trafficking of methamphetamine along with other illicit drugs, thereby increasing public safety of the citizens of Amador County.
